The third Golf World/Nike Coaches' Polls of the fall season were announced today (Wednesday, Oct. 15), and the University of Michigan men's golf team is listed as 25th-ranked program in Division I. It is the first time in school history the Wolverines have broken the top 25 in the national poll. "It is definitely nice to get some national recognition for our golf program early in the season," said U-M coach Andrew Sapp. "However, the season is not even halfway over and our talented players have a lot of work to do and improvement to make in order to receive such recognition at the end of the season. That is our goal and our mission."
