The #6 Michigan Women's Softball team beat the Buckeyes of Ohio State for the second time in two days, both times defeating OSU in the run-rule. Michigan hit four home runs including a grand slam from Freshman pinch-hitter Marley Powers to go on to win 10-1 in five innings. This was Powers second grand slam in three games to help her 1.000 average in bases-loaded at-bats. Sophomore Angela Findlay, Senior Samantha Findlay, and Sophomore Roya St. Clair also hit home runs en route to the win. Freshman pitcher Jordan Taylor continued her success on the mound, allowing only three Buckeye hits. Taylor is 22-2, and Michigan is 41-4 overall and 13-1 Big Ten. Next up is the Alumni Stadium Dedication game against Michigan State on Friday, April 25. The game is at 6 pm. Come out and support the team!!
